The Seikowave eVox HB is the basis for a multiscan system used for creating complete 3D models of large objects. By incorporating multiple 3D scanners into a single scanning system, a complete, 360 degree digital model of an object can be created. The high optical output of the eVox HB is perfectly suited for acquiring 3D data on large objects in areas where the lighting is not controlled. The proprietary modulation used by the eVox HB ensures that even high levels of ambient light will be rejected.

Whether as an individual scanner, or as part of a scanning system, the eVox HB is ideal for medical applications. Twelve scanners, when appropriately place, enable acquisition of an entire person in under one second.

Seikowave is also investigating the use of a single eVox HB for scoliosis measurements. One scanner is sufficient for capturing an entire 3D scan of a patient. The detail provided by the scan can be used for determining and tracking features indicative of scoliosis such as rib prominence.
